Session
Show ◆ Session button
Reveals the top-right In Session control. The toggle-mode behavior ships in a future round; for now this controls visibility only.
Session timer
Off hides the timer surface. Subtle shows a dim gold MM:SS inline. Visible shows a framed MM:SS with a play/pause icon. State keeps running across modes.
Display & input
Auto-advance date fields
When typing a birthdate, jump to the next field automatically (month → day → year). Enter always runs the calculation regardless.
Reduce motion
Disables transitions and animations across the Atlas for a calmer, static interface.
Countertype callouts
Show the gold countertype markers and explainer in the Instincts and Reference views. Off hides them for a plainer reading.
Default opening tab
Which tab the Atlas opens to. Applies on next load.
Compare opens to
Which sub-mode the Compare tab shows first — the Individual 1:1 view or the Family tree.
New profile confidence
The confidence level a freshly created profile starts at.
Reading width
