The Workbook

A weekly practice tied to your sequence. One small thing to notice or try, every week, with a place to write what happened. The slow work that turns the framework into actual change.

First time

Get your sequence to begin.

The Workbook needs your sequence to know which practices to give you. Enter your birthdate and we’ll calculate it once and save it locally. No account, no server — everything stays in your browser.

Study mode

Your sequence, worked through carefully.

Five lessons drawn from the canonical Enneagram tradition (Riso & Hudson, Fauvre, Palmer) and applied specifically to your sequence. Read in order. Each lesson takes 5–15 minutes. When you’ve done all five, you’ll have a structural understanding of yourself the framework can give. Then move to Practice.

About these lessons: Lesson 1 draws on Riso & Hudson’s Wisdom of the Enneagram. Lesson 2 extends Katherine Fauvre’s stacking-method observations from her Tritype work, applied to the full nine-position sequence VecNine produces. Lesson 3 uses the Hornevian (Karen Horney) social-style framework as Riso & Hudson present it. Lesson 4 is the VecNine extension — explicit work with what is structurally absent, which the canonical tradition discusses less. Lesson 5 hands off to ongoing Practice.

Privacy: Everything in the Workbook — your sequence, your weekly entries, your streak — is stored only in your browser’s local storage. We don’t have a server-side copy. If you clear your browser data, this will be lost. Use Settings → Export to back it up.

Lineage: The Workbook’s framework draws on the Enneagram tradition — Ichazo, Naranjo, Riso & Hudson, Helen Palmer, and Katherine Fauvre. The terms “Stuckness Zone,” “Point of Courage,” and “Lost Recognition” are VecNine coinages that map to longstanding concepts in that tradition (the Wake-up Call, the type-specific growth practices, and the Holy Ideas / Essential Qualities, respectively). See the Lost Recognition essay for the full discussion.
Backup & restore

Your Workbook data lives only in this browser. Export periodically to back it up. The export is a small JSON file you can save anywhere.

Sequence

Your saved sequence:

If your stored birthdate is wrong, recalculate from the calculator and the Workbook will pick it up next time you start fresh.

Reset workbook

This deletes all journal entries, your streak, and your sequence. You will need to enter your birthdate again to start over.

Are you sure? This cannot be undone. Consider exporting first.
