Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
Vecnine is a personality sequencing platform operated by Vecnine ("we", "us", or "our"). Our primary product is a birthdate-based personality calculation tool available at vecnine.com and through our installable web app (PWA).
This policy covers the public website, member accounts, Atlas, and the browser-based tools served from vecnine.com.
2. What data we collect
Data you provide directly
- Birthdates, entered to calculate personality sequences. These may be your own or those of others you choose to profile.
- Profile names and notes, labels and observations you attach to saved profiles in the tool.
- Email address, when you create a member account. The current newsletter form keeps its queue in your browser unless a newsletter endpoint is explicitly configured.
- Member data, including account records and profiles synchronized through Supabase when you sign in.
- Payment information, only if live checkout is activated and you choose to subscribe. Stripe would process card details; This does not receive the full card number.
Data collected automatically
- Aggregate site analytics. Shared navigation loads Plausible Analytics to count visits and page use without advertising profiles.
- Standard request information. As with other websites, the hosting and network layers necessarily receive request data such as IP address, requested URL, browser information, and timestamps.
- Local activity. Some tools keep progress, preferences, quiz results, saved sequences, or draft work in your browser’s local storage.
Data we do not collect
- We do not collect your precise GPS location.
- We do not read your contacts, messages, or files.
- We do not build advertising profiles or track you across other websites.
3. How we use your data
We use collected data for the following purposes:
- To calculate and display personality sequences based on birthdates you enter.
- To save and retrieve your profiles when you use the tool across sessions.
- To operate member authentication and synchronize member data through Supabase.
- To send newsletters only when a delivery endpoint is active and you submit an address to it.
- To process payments and manage subscriptions if live Stripe billing is activated.
- To understand aggregate site use through Plausible Analytics.
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents.
- To comply with legal obligations.
This does not use profile data for advertising or sell it to data brokers.
4. Data storage & retention
Local storage (default)
Public tools and several member tools use browser local storage for preferences, progress, drafts, quiz results, and saved work. Clearing site data in your browser removes those local records and may sign you out.
Account and cloud sync
Supabase provides member authentication and cloud data storage. When you sign in, supported profile, people, and journey records can synchronize with Supabase; the first sign-in may also migrate compatible records already saved in your browser. Local copies may remain on the device for offline or faster access.
Retention
- Browser-stored data remains until you clear it, remove it in the relevant tool, or the browser removes it.
- Cloud account and synchronized data remain until they are deleted through available account controls or a supported deletion request.
- Plausible and Stripe apply their own retention practices to data they process.
5. Third-party services
We use the following third-party services to operate Vecnine:
- Supabase, member authentication, sessions, database storage, and server-side functions. Privacy policy
- Plausible Analytics, aggregate website analytics. Data policy
- Stripe, payment processing and subscription management if live billing is activated. Privacy policy
Each provider processes data under its own policy. This list describes integrations present in the current site source; it does not imply that a disabled feature is active.
6. Cookies & tracking
The current site relies primarily on first-party browser storage rather than advertising cookies. It uses local storage for:
- Member sessions, maintained by the Supabase client under a the method-specific storage key.
- Preferences and progress, including accessibility settings, curriculum checks, course progress, and tool state.
- Saved work, including supported profiles, notes, quiz results, and drafts.
Plausible is loaded for aggregate analytics and is configured without advertising cookies. Clearing the method’s cookies and site storage can remove local data and sign you out.
