The Academy pattern

This is the planning map for learner paths, reusable courses, competencies, and lesson expectations. Its job is to keep the same idea from being taught five different ways across the site.

Boundary. The catalog is a target pattern. Existing pages can be mapped into it without pretending every target lesson is already complete.

Do not start from the longest course. Start from the smallest capability the learner needs next.

Explain what the method returns and what it does not claim.

Distinguish lens, filter, position, composition, and absence.

Retrieve ways the pattern works and compare rival explanations.

Produce one bounded case, decision, or teaching artifact with an evidence trail.

The lesson contract
